The team that leads the We Lead women’s initiative at Givaudan recognized that members were experiencing burnout—as so many women are during the pandemic. There was a desire to provide women the tools to set boundaries to reduce their burnout without adding one more thing to their plate.
We collaborated with the team to develop a two-part workshop session with an asynchronous ‘pre-work’ component which allowed participants to get in the right mindset—understanding what burnout is and beginning to recognize what factors may be contributing to their burnout. Then, when we came together for a live virtual session, we could focus on tools and collaboration in small group breakouts to apply the learnings to our own work and personal lives.
We were so excited to share this critical topic with our friends at Givaudan and look forward to executing this thoughtful format with other clients in the future.
